2015 Summary

In 2015 I embarked on an experiment to test whether or not the Fortune Cards I occasionally used were accurate when compared to what actually occurred in my life.

The short answer is no.

I don’t want to delve into specific statistics because nobody is interested in that, but based on my monthly summaries I can confirm more reading elements were not accurate to reality than those that were accurate. After all, the cards suggested that little ol’ single me would be pregnant on not less than 6 occasions which was nothing short of laughable.

If I was to complete a gap analysis and calculate specifics I would suggest that the accuracy was higher in the first half of the year compared to the second. Why this is, I couldn’t even hazard a guess. There was some consistency however with certain card representations. For example, the Tower card always appeared when one person from my past would appear in my life. Regardless of all of this I find the cards to be fun. As such I’ll be continuing reading them in 2016 under a modified 7 card spread.
